I am 34 years old. With over 15 years of experience as a make up artist, I qualified from the London college of Fashion at 19 years old, where I obtained a BTEC national diploma in Make Up Artistry, covering ranges of make up including Beauty, Editorial, Bridal, Theatrical, Tv and Film, circus and prosthetic.

My next stage of progression was working at Chanel where I furthered my skills while training at their makeup studio’s in Old Bond Street, I worked in many of Chanel national stores, demonstrating and selling their beauty products. At age of 22 I was head hunted by the Area Manager of Dior, I worked and trained closely in the Head offices of Marble Arch House, Seymour Street London.

Dior is where I was really able to excel and be creative, with inspiration from John Galliano as the creative director, I took part in many events and launches with Dior, From their True Velvet lipstick range and also the Dior range. Working with Dior I would travel to all their flagship stores in and around Central London where I would demonstrate new looks and products, and also lead and participate in store makeovers, Fashion trunk shows, London Fashion Week and Private Client events.

I furthered my career and experience with Dior working on their trunk shows, where new make up lines and looks would be showcased by models during London Fashion week. I worked on high profile clients, actresses and models whilst working with Dior.  After five of the most exciting and wonderful years, full of experience where I met some of the most influential people in this industry, I decided to leave Dior to set up my own freelance business, as I felt I could be more creative and had now discovered and crafted my make up skills enough to embrace and fulfill my own business.

I have now been successful as freelance make up artist for over 12 years, I have built a wide range of clients and accounts, from Bridal Makeups to working on television shows and weekly fashion editorials, I have been lucky enough to travel the world to create looks for social events and industry jobs. I love my job and no day is ever the same,  I meet clients from all walks of life and change the way people see themselves. That’s the best part of it all, wether I am creating a transformation for a young lady on her prom or a top model about to walk the runway I make that person feel more glamorous and beautiful and that is the real accomplishment.
